Review

Our first time to this fabulous retreat where
To Where The Manor Born was filmed with Penelope Keith way back .
A wonderful building of character and very stately inside sweeping staircases and great decor nice bars , coffee area etc and vocalists in a lounge area at night on top of the main entertainment down stairs.
Our room was spotless and spacious and a complementary bottle of wine was well received .
The 3 nights entertainment was outstanding in the wonderful nightclub , the tribute to the Stylistics ( Sing Baby Sing ) where spot on , and Thd Four Tops Experience we’re also excellent .
Plenty to do quizzes, archery, shooting , swimming ,table tennis ,snooker , even line dancing if you wanted to learn it’s there if you want it and great fun .
The Food in the restaurant was superb and the choice excellent and our waiter was outstanding and made it so enjoyable .
The grounds are fantastic and some lovely walks in the picturesque valley .
Couldn’t fault the staff , especially the entertainment team .
We enjoyed it so much we are going back again within 7 weeks of our last visit .

We were bought this w/e stay by a friend. We were overawed with the whole experience. Never having stayed at a Warner hotel before, we didn't know what to expect. We weren't disappointed. From the lovely room, with wine, snacks and tea making facilities, to the very caring staff in all areas, the dining area and food were amazing. The entertainment was truly spectacular. We will definitely be booking another visit soon.

We had a long weekend here, room was lovely and there was a nice sitting area just outside the bedroom patio door. Lovely shower room, all nice and clean. Staff were polite and helpful especially the young lady who was our waitress for our meals. Lovely little church in the grounds which we were able to go into. The hotel arranged a trip into Exeter and the Christmas market, lovely coach driver. The only thing I didn't like was the large dining area, it was very noisy, would like something quieter. I will be going back here at sometime, but working around all the sites.

We stayed half-board Mon-Fri at the end of October 2018. Rooms were large, warm, well equipped with comfortable bed, large bathroom with powerful shower, safe, and small fridge. Food was excellent and with good vegetarian selections at both breakfast and dinner. The Leisure Centre has a good range of activities with good-to-excellent instructors.
